I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are very excited for the upcoming holiday season.
Unlike the first three months of my blog reports, November was a very tumultuous month for me as I had a lot to learn and juggle. I got a new job and I got incredibly sick… twice! So, I’m grateful I managed to survive the month of November, haha.
If this is your first time to lemonade + adventure, welcome! The purpose of my monthly blog reports is to create a full-time income for myself. You can check out other blog reports below.
August 2021 // September 2021 // October 2021 // November 2021
Overview: I recently celebrated my first full year of blogging (November 22). My blog isn’t a hobby – it’s a business – but it needs to make a full-time income and that’s what I was striving to do within the next 9 months.
I know that I can do it, but it will take a lot of hard work. And if (far off if!) then you’ll see it all happen in real-time anyway.

November Goals Recap
My main goals were:
- Write 3 posts [✔]
I managed to only get three (and only three) posts out.
This was – by far – the worst month for me health-wise. My illnesses knocked me out for weeks at a time and I was lucky to even get out what I was able to get out, but I’m so happy that I pushed through!
My foreseen issue of traveling to see family for Thanksgiving did occur (although it wasn’t to Florida it was to New Jersey and New York, closer but didn’t help by any means).
Would I have enjoyed more posts? Absolutely, but I’m okay with it. I’m just so glad to know that I could manage this goal.
The only thing I wish I had done better was making more pins, so I’ll make a better effort next time.

- Stupid Simple SEO: Module 4 +5 [½]
I’m very upset with myself in terms of what I did with this goal. I was doing really well with SSSEO, but this month I could barely get through module four and I definitely didn’t get through the fifth either.
So, these will just get pushed to next month.
- Update one older post to reflect the new niche [✔]
Thankfully I did manage to update one older post.
The post in question? 11 Gym Kit Essentials You Need to Start Your Fitness Journey – I did a title change from “Gym Items You Need When Starting Your Fitness Journey” to the one you currently see and I added 4 items to the list to make it more well-rounded.
The Extra Mile:
While I didn’t finish certain portions of my biggest goals, I was able to start a few new things during November. For starters …
- A fellow blogger gave me access to By Sophia Lee’s courses and I’ve been taking those courses. I haven’t finished it yet, and while I should have been finished with it, I’m taking it slow. However, I was beyond excited to learn from her as I stalk her website on the daily.
- I started Suzi’s Printables by Number course because it was on sale at the beginning of the month and I started creating some printables and that’s been really fun.
Current Income:
I am really excited to see money coming in and I want to outline what has been made. It’s not much yet, but, there is something a-brewin’.
- Ad money: $30.10 from Google AdSense (as of November 29, 2021)
- Amazon Associates: $0.84. I have absolutely no idea as to why this isn’t going better considering that my two Christmas affiliate posts are popular and I made over $12 in October. I’m hoping that the new Amazon course I bought from Debbie Gartner proves to be worth the money because that drop is very disheartening.
- LTK: $0.64. This was actually a surprise because it was my first sale and I’m enthused! Hopefully, the only way is up.
- Skimlinks: $1.64. Also my first sale (yay!) so I’m really glad.
Total Income: $33.22
December Goals
Foreseen Roadblocks
As we all know, the holidays are around the corner! Therefore, I know for a fact that I will be taking time off toward the latter half of the month. There are also so many activities happening that it makes a lot of sense that I won’t do my best, but we’ll see!
My boyfriend and I are heading down to Florida for Christmas to see family that I haven’t seen in a really long while. So if I manage to get a post out during the two weeks we’re gone, I’ll be lucky, but it’s not something I will be vying for at all.
I also started a job recently and have absolutely no time whatsoever to really write, so that in and of itself was a really big struggle from November. Therefore, if I do get to write as much as I want in December I will be mindblown.
Posts
I think I’m going to aim for five posts.
I want to aim beyond what I did this last month and if I do get this goal I will feel so proud of myself. I also want to make sure I do 3 pins per post so that’s what I’ll aim for, too.
SEO + Social Media
I will continue to finish Module 4 and do Module 5 of Stupid Simple SEO. I need to get my posts to rank on page one so that I can reach my audience.
And again, no change with social media. It’s not a priority for me. If you want to follow on Instagram the handle is @lemonadeandadventure, but I won’t be doing anything until I want to.
Affiliate Marketing
I recently bought Journey to the Center of Amazon by Debbie Gartner.
Therefore I’d like to read through that course. I’ll most likely do that during my lunch breaks at work because of the way my schedule works.
I also want to work on printables since I am obviously taking a printables course as well.
Email Marketing (+ Subscribers)
To be honest, I’m not bothering with this this month. I just won’t have enough time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Update Posts
Eh, I’m not going to be doing that. It’s just too busy of a month to do everything I’m already trying to do and then update posts? Haha, no.
General Plan
- Write 5 posts with 3 pins each
- Finish SSSEO: Module 4 + 5
- Read through all of Journey to the Center of Amazon
- Create a large printable bundle (and therefore figure out where I want to sell them).
I’m Trusting Myself
I have to; it’s the only way to push through the fear and negativity I sometimes try to feed myself. I’m looking forward to the end of the year and to the next month.
If you’re in the same boat as me I hope you are killin’ it and I can’t wait to hear of your success. ♡
